These days receiving personal mail is like winning the lottery, it never happens. I love holding the personalization that comes naturally with someone else’s hand writing. When I was young I had about 3 pen pals I wrote back and forth with on a regular basis. I still have a box of all the letters. This year I thought it would be a great idea to make hand lettered return address stamps for Christmas gifts.
I wrote out the names and scanned them into my computer and then created a vector image to send to the printer (stamp maker).
I think they turned out really great. I added these to my etsy store for $30 in case you’d like one for yourself. They can be made with a removable handle or in the traditional wood base.
