Last week I designed a logo and wordpress blog for a good friend’s new venture, She Wants Cake. The title is so awesome and so much fun how could I say no? I love projects like these. I hand lettered her logo in a few different styles and sizes but we both thought the horizontal layout one looked best. (You can see the other versions below) She wanted the theme to be colourful with lots of sprinkles, so I used sprinkles as the back drop and designed the other elements based on the colors in the sprinkles.
For the wordpress design, it’s pretty minimal and clean. I created custom social icons and widget headers to add a pop of color. All the focus is on her beautiful creations.
